Overview
Cuttlefish (Sepia pharaonis) is a lean species found in the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea. Its flesh is tender when properly cooked, which makes it well suited to grilling, frying, stews and rice dishes.
Gialmar supplies Cuttlefish frozen. Lots are received, checked and stored at our IFS Food-certified plants in Tondela and Lajedo, so you can order from stock in Portugal all year round.
We supply Cuttlefish to wholesalers, retailers, restaurants, caterers, processors and importers in Portugal and international markets. Every lot is traceable from origin to delivery under our HACCP plan and IFS Food certification. MSC-certified supply is available for specific lines only, so please ask before ordering.

Store frozen Cuttlefish at −18 °C or below. Thaw slowly in the refrigerator at 0–4 °C and do not refreeze after thawing.
