Why we process

Built for industrial customers

Industrial buyers asked for preservation methods that fresh trading alone could not offer. Gialmar answered by adding freezing, processing and packing to its activity, so fish bought at the auction can be graded, frozen and stored for year-round supply.

Our fleet is matched to the fish we handle. Every vehicle has a refrigeration unit, so the same trucks can carry fresh fish on ice and frozen product at −18 °C or below.
